DUX | TWO-WAY PRESSURE RELIEF VENT
Superior to single top pivot solutions, the DUX is a compact, extremely robust and efficient Two Way Pressure Relief device, ideal for chemical gases. The DUX is the world’s first ‘Double Action’ Two Way Pressure Relief Vent for halocarbon gases and provides a level of performance not otherwise available for this application.
AmVentco's top weighted, offset pivoted aerofoil-style blades have the best available efficiency, reaction time and all out performance. The two-pivot design with adjacent interlocking blades offers superior fire protection. Complimented by low overall leakage and unique pressure relief efficiency.
Designed for and using the 2008 AFP/BRE live gas discharge tests. The DUX is the only pressure vent on the market to have its free vent area (FVA) certified to BRE standard.

INTEGRITY TESTING CALIBRATION
The AmVentco pressure relief vent range does not require calibration from an integrity test. Our range is fully certified to the BRE Live Discharge test of 2008. For any building application, the units size should be chosen based on the 'free vent area' specified from the gas suppliers calculations. Or alternatively, an integrity test report.
